pastor-shealsAt Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, we are committed to teaching the uncompromised word of God and to worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our dynamic, spirit-filled services celebrate the Word of God with energy, passion, and love. Our Church is dedicated to ongoing education, service and ministry within our community. Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church strives to inform and inspire; to guide you on your spiritual walk and to foster a more blessed experience in Christ in spirit and in truth.

We invite you to explore our site to connect, grow and serve through Christian education and numerous ministry, service and fellowship opportunities. There is a welcoming place at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church for all ages, spiritual gifts and talents.

If you are seeking a place of worship, join us each Sunday at 8:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. to worship and sing in praise of the Holy Spirit. If you are seeking a church home, Welcome Home! You've found a church whose mission is to help everyone become fully functioning followers of Christ.

Located 20 miles outside of Atlanta, our Norcross, GA church offers two Sunday services and a multitude of community-focused ministry programs. Our expansive Hopewell campus spans 30 acres, and is dedicated to spreading the teachings and love of Jesus Christ.

With the guiding wisdom and love of Bishop William Sheals, Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church will help you to follow in the footsteps of Christ, to equip believers for significant ministry, and to act as a beacon of salvation through the transformational grace of Jesus Christ. We hope that you will join us as a shepherd in this blessed journey to love and salvation.

Scripture of the Week

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. Romans 12:4-8 NIV
